Hello fellow bloggers,
today I went to et an x-ray. It took a very long time! I went to the place that you get x-rays at, and sat in the waiting room and listened to the song 'High-School Never Ends' I sat there for about ten-fifteen minutes before a lady who looked about thirty came to call me in. I followed her around two or three diffrent corners.
(I swear, docters 'n' people like that build there offices so much like a maze just to confuse you!) anyway....
she told me to sit in this locker thingamabobber fo a few minutes.
I did. I thought the waiting room was boring! eventually someone came and collected me, I followed her around several other bends and curves. we went into a room that's color was very dull, white and gray. she told me to sit on a spinny chair(Hooray!! I love spinny chairs!) and stay still. (WHAT!!??! stay still! On a spinny Chair!?) Grrr...What is the world coming too.
she took my hand and told me to hold it in all sorts of crazy positions. making small talk as she did. "It's kinda cold isn't it?" she asked. "yes." I answered. and that was all that was said apart from, "Ok, move your hand this way," "a little more.." and "stay very still for just a second." While all this was going on I sat still and tried not to spin. But I was good.
Once I was done she told me I did a 'good job' and walked me out of the room. then she asked
"can you find you way out?" I nodded and said "Yup," but I was already trying to remember whether you turn left at this turn, or you turn right at that turn. I made it out in the end.
on the way out my Mom and I got to go in the elevater. BONUS IF YA JUMP! We got in and I waited for the elevater to go down so I could see how high up I went. The little old lady in front of me turned around after I jumped with a surprised and slightly horrified expression. Hee Heh oops! I scared her! and thus ended my adventure to the x-ray docter.
