Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. --Dr. Seuss, The Lorax.

The Best orangy-flower apron ever

My sister looks like she walked out of the 50's. Two of  My brothers both look as if they are dressing up for a wedding(with the ties, dress pants, and everything). Lastly, Dad is wearing an orange flowery apron. You know what that means? That's right! They're leaving for play practice in precisely fifteen minutes. They will all be acting in The Best Chrismas Pageant ever later on in the season.

At my church, there's this kids group called 'Children's Litergy'. It's kind of like Sunday School, only all the kids(ages 5-11) are in the same group. We get younger kids, as young as 2. And sometimes we get kids older than 11, but usually they help out. The group lasts roughly 20-25 minutes.
During the lesson, we explain the readings from the Bible to them in a way that is easier for them to understand. Today, I taught it for the first time.

It went surprisingly well. I played my guitar a bit for them. I tied a game into the reading so they wouldn't be just sitting and listening to me talk. It was really cool. I thought that I hadn't made it clear what the game had to do with the reading, but I guess I was wrong. They completely understood.

Later, after I had finished teaching, one of the kids came up to me and asked if I could show her how to play guitar the way I do. They had fun, and I did along with them.

This week at school there was this really epic vocab word we had to memorize:
Lugubrious -- Depressing, very sad.

It's a heck of a lot of fun to say. It also kind of sounds like it's meaning.
